My spring in to summer staple dress.

Don’t you just love it when you can invest in a good piece in the spring, but still carry it on through the summer? I know I do!

One trick I’ve learned is investing in staple pieces that will stay relevant throughout different seasons. Plus, if the piece is universal enough then you can dress it up or down for different looks. I do this a lot with accessories too, but the concept works the same for a good quality blouse, skirt, jeans, dress etc.

This denim dress from @express is super flattering and comfy. The straps are adjustable and the ruffle detail makes it pop. It’s a good quality material that pretty much matches any accessory you pair with it. I bought this dress for a family event in April, took it with me when I traveled to Greece, and will now carry it on casually through the hot South Texas summer months! It’s one of the dresses that  I constantly get compliments on.
