Hello everybody! How has the start of the new year been treating you? These last few weeks have just been so busy with the holidays, that I have to admit I’ve gotten a bit behind with the blog (oops), but don’t worry I’m back on track now and super excited to share this post because, I’m sharing what I was gifted this year for both Christmas and my birthday! Any January babies out there? Me too! My bday is just ten days after Christmas, so it’s always a lot of celebrating for me back to back. I’ve actually never shared what I’ve been gifted before, this will be a first, so if you see anything you like, as usual I’ll be linking everything in this blog. Let’s get started!
OMG! This is the new staple purse in my life thanks to my handsome hubby who gifted me this gorgeous bag for Christmas. Classy, sophisticated, and modern are the three words I can think of that best describe this purse. It can be worn as a crossbody, but the shoulder strap is removable (which is how I prefer to wear it). The purse is made from 100% full-grain pebbled leather. and has a center zip compartment with two open compartments and three card slots. This bag actually comes in several colors too just incase you decide you want to stock up! If you are looking for a smaller cute bag that will go with everything, this is it! This is how I styled it this past weekend.
Am I a lucky girl or what?! My BFF’s and I like to spoil each other for Christmas because we live in different states, and usually only get to see each other on special occasions now like Christmas! So, my bestie Liz gifted me this bag and boy does she have good taste! This is the MOTT Leather Crossbody in blue. It’s two-toned tiel/navy blue. It has a spacious interior, a chain link accent, and the iconic logo hardware which doubles as a turn-lock fastening. This bag really is so stylish, and I love how it compliments a look while still making a statement. What do you think?
So, is buying a birthday gift for yourself ok? Yes it is, and don’t let anyone tell you different! Around my birthday I usually like to splurge a bit and get something I’ve been eyeing for probably a year. Yes, I am the opposite of a compulsive buyer, especially when it comes to a big purchase. I usually do my research and save up. So, this birthday I treated myself to my first ever Gucci belt! Woo hoo! This belt is just soooooo gorgeous! It’s black, leather, and has a double G buckle. The hardware is brass with a shiny finish, and the width is 1.5 inches. It does come in multiple colors as well. I opted to buy my belt online, which worked out just great. There’s a size guide on the Gucci website that is very useful. If you still aren’t sure, you can always call customer service and they can assist with sizing questions. Overall, the quality of this belt is on point, and I will definitely get great use out of it.
Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow palette
This palette is the best! My sister-in-law gifted my this for Christmas because she knows what I love! If you have never tried any of Urban Decays Naked palettes then you are missing out! This specific palette comes with twelve shades, and is my absolute everyday favorite eyeshadow go-to. The sidecar shade is the ultimate best! This palette is the ideal palette for trying to achieve a neutral look. The shades are shimmery and satin, and blend very well together.
