Happy Monday! Well, we are well in to January now, and I don’t know about you, but I’ve been very busy stocking up on all the good winter sales lately! After Christmas sales are my absolute fav, so I thought I’d share with you all the best finds I’ve snagged this winter, in case you are still doing some shopping yourself. Most of these pieces are still currently on sale and can be found at Zara, H&M, and Express.
One of the best after Christmas sales to take advantage of is at Zara (both in store and online). I definitely took advantage this season and purchased a few really nice pieces, like this snake print wrap bodysuit. If you are a bodysuit fan then you’ll definitely love this top. This wrap bodysuit comes in several prints and colors. The snake print bodysuit is sold out, but they have the same top in a red print, leopard, yellow, and a few other options ($9.99-$12.99). I can gladly tell you that this top is a total steal! The material is nice, it fits true to size, and it’s not frumpy at all. Here’s how I styled it over the weekend. I just kept it casual with jeans and a belt since we were at the park, but I also plan on pairing it with a black or camel skirt to dress it up a bit.
This is exactly the kind of coat I wanted for the winter season, so you can imagine how excited I was to snag this piece from Zara on sale! Unfortunately, it went fast. So this particular coat is sold out. However, I have linked above for you a very similar coat that is also from Zara. To me, a black fur coat is classic, and a perfect addition to any winter wardrobe. This is a coat I will continue to use season after season. It can’t go out of style, and it will forever keep me warm! We have seen a few cold days here in San Antonio recently, so I’m finally getting some good use out of it!

I love my new ribbed wrap dress from Express! It comes in two colors (deep blue & teal). I purchased the blue, but I’m thinking about getting the teal too because it’s so darn cute! It has a V neck surplice front, long sleeves, and the material is stretchy. It’s more of a mid-length fit, not too short. Pictured here I paired it with some ankle boots. For a colder winter day I’ll just add some tights to it and a nice coat. The best part, I can definitely transition this dress to spring. Yay! What do you think?
I love paring tights to help accessorize a look, specifically during winter. This season I decided to purchase a few pair from Express because the sale was pretty good at buy one get one half off (still the current sale). The tights from Express are a bit pricier then a few other places I can think of, but what I like about them is that they are great quality. The material feels and looks thick. I don’t feel like they are going to rip easily, and for that I’m thankful because I can wear them again next year too! This pair comes in small/medium or medium/large. They are shear with a pretty diamond pattern. I also purchased the super opaque full tights which are a little thicker with no design, but are great to set the foundation for your winter outfit.
High waisted leopard mini-skirt
I’ve been in to the leopard print all fall and winter season! What about you? What prints are you in to this winter? If leopard is on your radar, this high-waisted skirt is currently on sale for $29.95 from Express. It’s an online exclusive only, and I suggest going up a size if you are in between sizes because the waist/material is not stretchy or very forgiving. Again, it is high-waisted with a straight hem. I like that is has some flare to it making it fun to dress up or down. Pictured above, on this day, I paired it with just a basic black tee and beret from H&M, and received several compliments on the skirt.
This is my go-to black top/bodysuit in my life right now. It’s the drape surplice thong bodysuit from Express, and it’s currently on sale 40% off! What I like most about it is the fit. It’s very flattering, both with the style and the silky fabric. It goes great with everything…jeans, skirt, pants…you name it! It can also be dressed up or down because of the color and nice fabric. This is just one of those great staple pieces to have for the rest of the winter season. I can’t recommend it enough! Here’s how I styled it for a fun day out.
This is just your basic black fitted tee, but it’s affordable, fits good, and comes in both white and black. The only negative to this top is that the material is on the thinner side, so I prefer to wear a cami under. Overall though, it’s a good basic casual top to have in your winter wardrobe because it goes with everything, and can just be layered if need be. It’s actually been a nice winter here in San Antonio, so this is how I paired it last week for an event at a Resort in San Antonio.
