Happy Monday! Oh, and happy February too! It’s my first piece of the month, and it’s a sweeeeeeet one! With Valentines Day just around the corner, I thought I’d share a few outfit ideas with you to help get you in the spirit. I’ve put together two looks, one casual, one dressy, both just perfect for the Valentines holiday. Hope you love them! Let’s get started 🙂
Usually, I would probably start off from casual to fancy, but I’m feeling moody so let’s just begin with the dressier of the two. I’ve actually talked about this dress before, and if you follow my Instagram then you may recognize this one. It’s this beautiful mini wrap dress in the shade red from Express. I can’t tell you how many compliments I get on this piece. It’s festive, fun, flirty, and sexy all at the same time. It’s a V neck with ruffle detailing on the chest and wrap bottom. It’s also long-sleeved, and has a cinched waist. The two things I love about this dress the most are the color and the fit. The color is so striking and bright, especially in person. The fit is on point too! It’s a very flattering piece because of the wrap and ruffle detailing. I plan on wearing this dress for my Valentines date with my husband. This velvet body suit from Lulus is a STUNNER!!! It’s sexy but fun at the same time. You can dress it up or down, but for this look I decided to dress it down for a more casual Valentines day. It would also be perfect for a Galentines night out too! This body suit is fitted, long sleeved, with a surplice wrap bodice, and made from ultra soft velvet. It really is so soft! The thong bottom part has two snap closures. My favorite thing about it is the color. On the website it’s labeled purple, but to me it’s more of a fuchsia pink. The color really is gorgeous. Oh, and if you are loving this bodysuit then you better hurry up and order on the website because it looks like they are almost sold out.
Here’s the full look from head to toe. I decided to style it with some high waisted Levi’s, my favorite Gucci belt, my Michael Kors mercer bag, and wine suede leather ankle boots that are also from Lulus.
