Speaking of beauty regimens, my smile has always been something very important to me. It’s such a focal point, whether in face to face communication or when I look back at photos, so that’s why today I’m so excited to share with you the newest beauty regimen I have added to my life called Smile Brilliant.
For the last ten years, I have been that girl who has tried all kinds of teeth whitening treatments. I once tried a laser light treatment that I definitely regret because it was a one-time visit that was over a hundred dollars, and unfortunately not very effective. I have also used the Crest Whitestrips multiple times which I feel do work, but of course they are not custom to fit your teeth, so I find the strips to slip off easily. I once paid the big bucks at my dentist for a whitening procedure. It was expensive and painful. Let’s just say I never did it again. So, how does it work? Well, first you customize your package based on the amount of whitening gel you need (lightly stained, average, heavy stained) and your sensitivity level. Prices do vary. After receiving your kit, you will find all the supplies and directions to make your own impressions at home, which only takes 15 minutes! Then you send the trays back to the lab (postage included in your kit). The lab creates your trays which you receive back in the mail in 3-5 business days. Then you can start the whitening treatments at your own pace, and from the comfort of your home. That’s it! It’s that simple!
So, what was my experience like overall? Very easy! The custom trays fit perfectly, and I found myself whitening at night before bed when I knew I wouldn’t be consuming anymore food or drinks for the night. I would apply the trays and just relax while in bed working on my blog or editing videos. As an avid multitasker, this was so convenient for me to be able to whiten my teeth at home, without it affecting my day to day routine. At first, I was worried because I knew I had sensitive teeth and gums, so I was afraid I would experience sensitivity or discomfort, but that was not the case with Smile Brilliant. For one, I received the Sensitive Whitening System which included desensitizing gel. This is a post-whitening treatment that helps reduce if not eliminate temporary tooth sensitivity caused by whitening. It also helps close the pores on your
teeth faster, which helps prevent restaining. So no pain involved with this whitening treatment!
After using the trays for several weeks, I am happy to see a difference in my overall smile. Here are the before and after photos so you can see the improvement. As you can see from the before photo, my teeth were already pretty white, but they were also dull and had some staining. Now my smile is even brighter!
