Wildseed Farms Review

By Priscilla Gutierrez

Wildseed Farms is the nation’s largest working wildflower farm with over too hundred acres.

It's located in Fredericksburg, Texas out in the Hill Country.

It's free to visit, including free parking. My tips would be to go early and during the week if possible to avoid crowds.

I've been many times, but my favorite time to go is in April during Poppy season.

They have flower fields all year round so if that is important to you when you visit, I suggest calling ahead to see what's currently in bloom.

You can usually spot bluebonnets there as well during bluebonnet season in April.

It's also a great family friendly experience to enjoy. My kids love it there!

Besides the walking trails outside you can also enjoy a gift shop and cafe inside.
