1…2…3 Let’s Selfie! If you are in the San Antonio area, I have a fun new Museum for you to check and out and explore. This past weekend I was invited to experience the newly opened Texas Selfie Museum in downtown San Antonio, and it was so fun! Some of you may have already seen my new google web story on my experience, but in case you missed it check it out here.
Growing up in Texas has it’s major perks..and top of the list for me is our annual trip to the Coast. I have memories as a kid of driving down from San Antonio with my parents and cousins to the south Texas beaches. The windows down in the truck, fishing gear in the back, and the good days of beach and sunshine ahead.
Now, as a mom myself, nothing makes me happier than continuing those traditions with my little family, while also creating new traditions to pass on to my kids. One of those new traditions is Lively Beach.
Hello friends! I cannot believe we have officially welcomed fall. Can you? This year has just flown by, and I’m grateful that as a family we were able to spend a little time at the beach to help close summer out. If you follow my blog, than you know that every summer we head south of San Antonio to the Corpus Christi and North Padre Island, Texas area. This year was extra special since our little family has grown from three to four! Although we were excited for a little weekend getaway, it was also important for us to social distance, and feel as safe as possible, so I was beyond excited to learn about these new resort style condominiums on Mustang Island called Lively Beach.
Hi friends! I don’t know about you, but this quarantine life has really been testing me lately. Every spring/summer my family and I do a lot of traveling. This year that has not been the case obviously, but with social distancing on my mind we found a little quarantine getaway that managed to get us “out” of the house for a few hours while still avoiding the crowds. What’s the activity you ask? Strawberry farm picking!
I adore the South of France. So much to see and do..an endless possibility of natural beauty, history, beaches, glam. So how do you decide what to see and do on a visit to the French Riviera? Well, that of course is subjective to your own wants and needs, however after having the chance to explore the area for over a week this past May with my husband and son, I can highly recommend a visit to the town of Villefranche sur Mer. I definitely did my research of best places to see and things to do in the area, so as you can imagine, I was overjoyed to have included this small beachside town on our schedule. It was sooooooo much more than I ever expected, and I was so touched by this small gem of a place that I was even inspired to write a whole blog post dedicated to sharing it with you. So what makes this place so special, and a must see place in the Riviera? As I break down my two visits here on my trip I think you will understand! At least I hope so 😉
From the moment I stepped inside this Texas treasure…I knew it was going to be a spring day to remember. I spent the first several months of this spring season on the hunt for the best bluebonnet and wildflower fields in the San Antonio and surrounding area. I guess you could say I’m OBSESSED with flower fields and flower markets. I found a lot of good fields, but my visit to Wildseed Farms a few weeks back was so special that I was inspired to devote an entire blog post to it! Thousands of twinkling Christmas lights lining the tress of the romantic San Antonio River Walk. The world’s largest boots lit up with Christmas stars overlooking holiday shoppers. A beautiful colorful Christmas tree that stands tall amongst a charming downtown park. From giant ornaments and reindeer, to the biggest light show in Texas! San Antonio is a Christmas lover’s dream with everything it has to offer. The city is romantic, family friendly, and Instagram worthy all at the same time, especially during the holiday season. As a local born and raised, here is my travel guide to the best things to see and do for the holidays in San Antonio, Texas. So sit back and enjoy!
The City of Angels…growing up in the music industry I always dreamed about moving to LA and walking in to Capitol Records with demo in hand! I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to actually check out this amazing city, but last month in October my husband, two-year old, and myself visited for a short mini-vacation, and let me tell you the city did not disappoint! Did I get to walk in to Capitol Records with my demo?? Nah, but our hotel was ironically just around the corner, and the Hollywood star that I cared to see the most is also placed at the front entrance to the record label so that’ll have to do 😉 If you are headed to the city of angels anytime soon then read on to follow everything we did, saw, and ate in Los Angeles. Oh, and if you are looking for some of the best Instagram spots in LA, I was on a mission to get as many photos for the Gram as I could, and of course I’ll have to make it back anther time to continue that mission just because the city is so big I couldn’t get to everything! Hope you enjoy my Los Angeles Travel Guide!
