Hi friends! I don’t know about you, but this quarantine life has really been testing me lately. Every spring/summer my family and I do a lot of traveling. This year that has not been the case obviously, but with social distancing on my mind we found a little quarantine getaway that managed to get us “out” of the house for a few hours while still avoiding the crowds. What’s the activity you ask? Strawberry farm picking!
I adore the South of France. So much to see and do..an endless possibility of natural beauty, history, beaches, glam. So how do you decide what to see and do on a visit to the French Riviera? Well, that of course is subjective to your own wants and needs, however after having the chance to explore the area for over a week this past May with my husband and son, I can highly recommend a visit to the town of Villefranche sur Mer. I definitely did my research of best places to see and things to do in the area, so as you can imagine, I was overjoyed to have included this small beachside town on our schedule. It was sooooooo much more than I ever expected, and I was so touched by this small gem of a place that I was even inspired to write a whole blog post dedicated to sharing it with you. So what makes this place so special, and a must see place in the Riviera? As I break down my two visits here on my trip I think you will understand! At least I hope so 😉
From the moment I stepped inside this Texas treasure…I knew it was going to be a spring day to remember. I spent the first several months of this spring season on the hunt for the best bluebonnet and wildflower fields in the San Antonio and surrounding area. I guess you could say I’m OBSESSED with flower fields and flower markets. I found a lot of good fields, but my visit to Wildseed Farms a few weeks back was so special that I was inspired to devote an entire blog post to it! The City of Angels…growing up in the music industry I always dreamed about moving to LA and walking in to Capitol Records with demo in hand! I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to actually check out this amazing city, but last month in October my husband, two-year old, and myself visited for a short mini-vacation, and let me tell you the city did not disappoint! Did I get to walk in to Capitol Records with my demo?? Nah, but our hotel was ironically just around the corner, and the Hollywood star that I cared to see the most is also placed at the front entrance to the record label so that’ll have to do 😉 If you are headed to the city of angels anytime soon then read on to follow everything we did, saw, and ate in Los Angeles. Oh, and if you are looking for some of the best Instagram spots in LA, I was on a mission to get as many photos for the Gram as I could, and of course I’ll have to make it back anther time to continue that mission just because the city is so big I couldn’t get to everything! Hope you enjoy my Los Angeles Travel Guide!

Always chasing views! Living in Texas, there’s always something or somewhere to explore just around the corner. Last week, my husband and I took a short drive from San Antonio to Mount Bonnell in Austin, and the views were so worth it!
Hi friends! A few Saturdays ago I traveled about an hour and a half from my home in San Antonio, Texas to climb the beast of a pink granite mountain called Enchanted Rock! This was my third time taking on the challenge. The first time was for an 8th grade field trip. The second time was for a sisterhood with my sorority in college. The funny thing is, I don’t really have a lot of memories from either of those occasions, which is another really great advantage to vlogging/blogging these days……getting the chance to experience everything and documenting it to share not only with the world but for my own personal diary as well.
